Come relax and kick back on Africa's Most Timeless River Journey...in style and with delcious food and fun!
The Congo river flows through ten countries, and permeates the dark green and mighty Congo rainforest--the second largest rain forest in the world, second only to the Amazon Rainforest in South America, its long lost cousin from the long lost connection of the continents.
-PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR CRUISES LEAVE AT 12:30 DAILY. FOR TRANSFERS TO THE LAUNCH POINT PLEASE ARRANGE WITH US SEPARATELY, OR WE CAN ADVISE HOW TO GET THERE TO MEET US YOURSELF WITH TAXI
-WE BRING TOURISTS BACK AT 17:00 (5PM)
We offer a one-day cruise on the majestic Congo River. This is the world’s deepest river, the second-longest in Africa, after the Nile, and the third-largest in the world in terms of volume, after the Amazon and the Ganges-Brahmaputra. You will cruise the river into the heart of darkness in comfort, and you will not get this kind of ride, this kind of safety, this kind of service on the platform barges or dugout canoes.
We go by modern and comfortable cruiseboat with cushioned seats, full buffet restaurant (included) and extremely powerful engines, not a local motorized wooden pirogue, like most operators offer....and we take you REALLY into the interior and up the river to see the cities, villages, and sites as you enjoy with your friends, and stop for a beach break upriver where you can try some dancing with the locals. This is really a cruise!
Price of each tour includes:
Buffet and ticket on our boat with personal attention by the captain and crew
Full bar (cash only at own expense) with soft drink and water for refreshment on tours.
All entrance fees and governments taxes, all permits and permissions for entering waterways with the police.
All sales final and dates cannot be changed once booked.

Recensioni
“In July 2015 I made a trip of almost three weeks in DR Congo. John Katumba from CTT (CT) was my guide. First we visited Kinshasa and the surrounding area including the bonobo sanctuary and the Zongo Falls. Then we flew to Mbandaka for a week-long trip in the deep jungle. We visited a number of Pygmy villages, by pirogue. Unique experience. Finally, we flew to Lubumbashi where we visited the Lofoi Falls and the mining area around Likasi. All in all it was a fascinating journey. DR Congo is not the easiest country to travel. All the time John took great care of me, paying attention to my health and safety. Also in situations where things turn out differently from what was planned or anticipated, John came up with a good alternative. In one word, John is a very professional guide. I warmly recommend him."
