2. Climbing Nyiragongo Volcano
The Nyiragongo is an active volcano in the Virunga Park and an ascent of this volcano is an absolute must when you are in the east of Congo. After a difficult climb of about eight hours you arrive at the edge of the crater, where in the evening you have a beautiful view of the largest lava lake in the world. 3. The mountain gorillas of Virunga

At the mouth of the Congo River in the Atlantic Ocean, we find a vast national park: the mangroves.
