Group Travel In Congo: Upcoming Group Tours

We offer a number of our tours in Congo and the Central African Republic (Dzanga Sangha) as group tours with fixed departure dates. These will take place as soon as there is a certain number of interested parties. This number differs from group to group. The detailed description can be found on the corresponding pages with the same title.

– All trips include accommodation in midrange hotels or camping. Transportation, activities, entrance fees and a professional guide are also provided, as well as airport transfers. Meals are only provided during camping, in national parks or on our boat trips

– Not included: drinks, pcr testing, visas, flights and tips.

– The price is always based on a shared room. If you want a single room, this is with an extra charge.

– Sharing a room by people of the same sex is unfortunately not allowed in Congo. Violating these rules could get you in trouble and we are not responsible for it.

You can only register with a 50 percent advance up to two months before the departure date and this via bank transfer. The full amount must be paid two months before the trip. Limited number of places!

Meet the Bonobos of the DRC – In the Wild!

The bonobo can only be found in the wild in Congo. For this expedition we work together with a small initiative in the forest below Mbandaka where a group of bonobos are being followed by trackers. Two weeks On The Congo River: Wagenia Falls, Tribes And Bonobos

This complete trip (more of an expedition honestly) down the Congo River is one of the greatest adventures you can experience in your life. Pioneer Expedition: Kinshasa To Mbuji-Mayi With Gungu Festival

Now that large parts of the road between Kinshasa and Mbuji-Mayi are finally passable again, we can now offer this unique journey with many gems along the way. We’ll also take advantage of going to the famous Gungu Festival, which takes place every year on July 21, the Belgian holiday. We’ll camp in the Batéké Plateau, visit Kikwit, Tshikapa, Kananga and Mbuji-Mayi and also visit natural sites such as waterfalls and other beautiful places. Photographic Tour: Kimbanguistes, Voodoo Wrestlers, Sapeurs And Tata Gonda

This photography tour in Congo is completely dedicated to street photography and shooting pictures of some colorful cultural movements in Congo. The Sapeurs with their extravagant clothing style are perhaps the most famous folklore figures from Congo. We are going to photograph them extensively on the street in Kinshasa. After this we visit the Kimbanguisten in Le Nouveau Jerusalem at Nkamba, and we’ll also pay an exclusive visit to the mysterious sect of Tata Gonda. We’ll depart from Kinshasa for this and then tour Kongo-Central (Bas-Congo).

Lac Télé: In Search Of Mokele-Mbembe, The Monster Of Lake Télé

Lac Télé in Congo-Brazzaville is best known for the monster that the locals believe to roam the area: the legendary Mokele-Mbembe. Numerous expeditions have already taken place to this isolated lake in search of this dinosaur.
